AWARDS SPECIAL EDITION

The Air Liquide Foundation has been working for eight years now on supporting and developing local research and development projects. For eight years, the Foundation has been illustrating Air Liquide’s willingness to fully play its role as a responsible company. It has supported 220 projects in 45 countries thanks to the dedication of 250 employees.

The first Air Liquide Foundation Awards are intended to honor the organizations that best exemplify the Foundation’s values. Nine organizations were nominated and three awards were granted to five winners: the award for scientific research on the environment, the award for scientific research on health and respiration, and the award for societal innovation.

The awards ceremony was held on January 13, 2016, at the Foundation’s headquarters in the presence of Benoît Potier, Chairman of the Foundation and CEO of the Air Liquide Group. I would like to warmly congratulate the nominees for their innovative projects and their personal commitment, as well as for the particularly moving testimonies they shared with us during the ceremony. I would like to thank the members of the Board of Directors and the Project Selection Committee, as well as all the Air Liquide employees who voted on the intranet, for getting involved in the selection of the nominees and awardees.

Please enjoy the interviews of the nominees and awardees in this special edition.

Happy reading!
