NEWSLETTER DECEMBER 2015

Environmental and climate issues were widely discussed at the COP21 in Paris, which has just ended.

Greenhouse gas, the energy transition, and the preservation of air quality; these are all issues supported by the Air Liquide’s sustainable development policy. From the very start, environment considerations have been part of the Air Liquide Foundation’s mission. In partnership with research organisations, the Air Liquide Foundation supports scientific innovation in the field of environmental protection and favors projects that aim at preserving the planet’s atmosphere.

The long-term collaboration with the Under The Pole expedition program, which you can read about in this newsletter, is the perfect illustration of this. Over five years, we have been working alongside this very brave team, whose scientific explorations help to improve our understanding of a region particularly sensitive to climate change: the Arctic.
